Rise Beyond Survival
Love Them Without Losing Yourself
Helping families of loved ones struggling with addiction and alcoholism move from overwhelm to healthy boundaries without feeling guilty – so they can find peace, confidence, and hope while continuing to love the person they care about.
Who It’s For
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, or adult child, you don’t have to navigate addiction or alcoholism alone. Your healing matters too.
Addiction and Alcoholism Doesn’t Affect Just One Person
It Affects the Whole Family
When someone you love struggles with addiction or alcoholism, it’s easy to lose yourself in the process. You spend your days worrying, rescuing, second-guessing, and wondering what you should do next.
You may feel…
- Constantly overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted.
- Responsible for fixing someone else’s life.
- Guilty when you try to set boundaries.
- Afraid you’re making the wrong decision.
- Like you’re walking on eggshells.
- That you’ve forgotten your own dreams, needs, and well-being.
You love them deeply…
But somewhere along the way…
You’ve stopped taking care of yourself.
It doesn’t have to stay that way!

About Our Founder:
Hi, I’m Linda.
I know what it’s like to love someone who is struggling. My second husband lived with alcoholism and addiction, and for years I found myself trying to fix, rescue, and hold everything together for our family. Like so many loved ones, I believed that if I just loved harder, tried harder, or sacrificed more, things would finally change. Instead, I found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and losing pieces of who I was.
Through counseling, recovery support, and my own healing journey, I discovered a truth that changed my life: while I couldn’t control someone else’s recovery, I could choose my own. That realization became the foundation for Rise Beyond Survival.
I’ve experienced firsthand how addiction and alcoholism may center on one person, but they impact everyone who loves them. And I also know that families deserve support, clarity, and hope—not judgment, confusion, or isolation.
Today, as a Certified Master Life Coach, Certified Happiness Coach, and Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter and Family Peer Supporter, I’ve dedicated my work to helping families move beyond simply surviving. My mission is to provide education, encouragement, and practical tools that help you understand addiction and alcoholism, establish healthy boundaries, reclaim your peace, and rediscover yourself without giving up on the people you love.
I believe you shouldn’t have to choose between loving your family member and taking care of yourself. You can do both. And I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you rise beyond survival into a life of healing, hope, and purpose.
